Shaping youth developmental pathways with championship passion.

As the Programme Director for Eagles Badminton School, Amanda Chng bridges the gap between grassroots youth development and high-performance sports management. Amanda is a Board Member of the Singapore Badminton Association (SBA), where she contributes to shaping the progressive developmental pathways for young, rising athletes across the nation.

With over 10 years of coaching experience at an established primary school in Singapore, she specializes in the early childhood bracket of players aged 4 to 8. Her deep understanding of early motor-skill development and cognitive growth ensures that the academy’s curriculum is tailored to keep young children engaged while embedding athletic fundamentals.

Beyond her leadership in this academy, Amanda remains deeply connected to the competitive heat of the sport. She is an active, passionate competitor and a frequent podium finisher in both the Women's and Mixed Doubles categories at local and international levels. Her dual perspective as a champion and a national sports policymaker ensures that every program at Eagles Badminton School builds the technical knowledge, personal excellence, and mental perseverance needed to help young shuttlers soar.

Our Coaching Philosophy

No child is left behind on our courts. By maintaining a low coach-to-student ratio, we ensure that whether your child is a 4-year-old learning to throw-and-catch, or an older player preparing for school tryouts, they receive the personalized attention, patience, and professional guidance they need to succeed.

We conduct a structured progress assessment for our players at the end of every 12-week period, allowing us to accurately monitor their development and keep parents informed of their milestones on and off the court.
